Cotton Tree Cyclones Swim Club

Cotton Tree Cyclones Swimming Club is based at the Cotton Tree Aquatic Centre on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Cotton Tree Aquatic Centre is located on the Maroochy River which provides a picturesque backdrop during training. The centre's facilities include both a 50m heated olympic sized pool and a 25m heated enclosed pool enabling training for members of all levels. The club caters for both recreational and competitive swimmers.

The Cotton Tree Swim Club's main aim is to create a family-focussed and nurturing atmosphere where all youngsters can challenge themselves, set and achieve goals and develop important life skills such as determination, self discipline and team work.

Club members successfully compete at district, regional, state and national level for both school and age championships. Our swimmers range in age from 5 years and upwards.

The club takes teams to most of the major swimming events in the Wide Bay region and every Thursday during October to March host a club night which is an opportunity for our younger swimmers to test themselves and for parents and families to get together in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Our base at the Cotton Tree Aquatic Centre is an excellent facility in a great location. There is plenty of parking, a shop which serves cold drinks, snacks and coffee. The complex also has shaded seating and activity pools for the smaller kids.
